About The School
Minor Community School is a Title I school which provides public education to 433 students in an urban community located in the western area of Jefferson County. We have seen an increase of our student population over the 2012-2013 school enrollment by 4%. The student population is 57% African American, 37% White, 3% Hispanic and 2% Multi-Racial. The school employees a staff of 50.80 units which includes teachers, aides, child nutrition and custodial staff personnel.
